Mr. Braca has almost 40 years experience achieved in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to joining Patheon, Mr. Braca was President - Worldwide Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Medicines Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb - with responsibility for 32 manufacturing plants and approximately 10,000 employees.
With the aim of expanding the company in Europe, Mr. Braca joined Patheon in 1999 as Executive Vice-President of the European Business Development and subsequently became President of Patheon Italia S.p.A. in July 2001. He became President of Patheon Europe in January 2004.
In 2006 he established BSP Pharmaceuticals by linking two subsidiaries of Patheon Inc., FaBInvest and Swiss Farma with the aim to provide development and manufacturing services concerning for anticancer drugs with cytotoxic characteristics.
Mr. Braca has an educational background in industrial chemistry and he is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.
