Patheon provides fully integrated manufacturing and development solutions to its customers, from early development through to high-volume commercial manufacturing and packaging. Patheon has three facilities in the United States, three in Canada and four in Europe (Italy, France and United Kingdom).
For the duration of a Sales & Marketing Agreement effective July 2, 2008, BSP Pharmaceuticals can also rely on Patheon, Inc commercial efforts to promote, on a worldwide basis, BSP Pharmaceuticals capabilities and services.

The establishment of the plant has been highly supported by Patheon Italia S.p.A., an indirect subsidiary of Patheon, Inc.
By means of a Service Agreement effective from November 1, 2006 Patheon Italia S.p.A. has provided, to BSP Pharmaceuticals management, guidance and assistance for the site operational set-up. Such services included, among others, Engineering and Operational support, QA/QC Regulatory and Human Resources.
