Mr. Braca has almost 40 years of experience achieved in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to joining Patheon, Mr. Braca was President - Worldwide Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Medicines Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb - with responsibility for 32 manufacturing plants and approximately 10,000 employees. Mr. Braca joined Patheon in 1999 and he was appointed Executive Vice-President of the European Business Development and President of Patheon Italia S.p.A. in July 2001. He became President of Patheon Europe in January 2004.
In 2006 he has established BSP Pharmaceuticals by welding Patheon Inc., FaBInvest and Swiss Farma in a Joint Venture with the aim to provide development and manufacturing services concerning anticancer drugs with cytotoxic characteristics. Mr. Braca has an educational background in industrial chemistry and he is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.
